Your Account
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.  Jefferson Trading Company and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

Product Descriptions
Jefferson Trading Company and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Jefferson Trading Company does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are always accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. This is in part to our desire to offer some products that are hand crafted directly from artists who have entered into agreements with Jefferson Trading Company to market their products.  Because some of these products might be one of a kind, or original works, there is a chance that there may be some variance. Every Effort is made to note this on the product detail so that you are aware.  If a product offered by Jefferson Trading Company itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition and we will refund your payment for the product.  Sorry, shipping charges are not refundable.

Payment Required
Payment is required prior to shipping any product.  In most cases customers will pay using the PayPal Network and do not need a PayPal account to place orders, but we also offer the option of paying by check, although it will delay your order in shipping.  In  all cases where we have a check returned for Non Sufficient Funds we will assess a $25.00 fee.

Shipping Details
Customer agrees that it will not hold Jefferson Trading Company accountable for delays in delivery occasioned by acts of God or other circumstances over which we have no direct control. Factory shipment or delivery dates are best estimates and in no case shall Jefferson Trading Company be liable for any consequential or special damages arising from any delay in delivery.

There is no shipping on the following U.S. holidays:

• New Year's Eve
• New Year's Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day

Depending upon the item ordered, the Shipping Origin may vary as some items are shipped from warehouse locations directly to you.  Regardless of where your item is shipped from, every effort will be made to ship your product as quickly as possible.

Street Address is Required to Ship
Sorry, we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.  We need an actual street address. 

All orders are processed within one to two business days. We process orders that are placed on the weekends and on holidays on the following business day. During the holiday season, processing may take up to four business days.  After the order has been processed, packaged and shipped from one of the warehouses, it can take anywhere from one to six business days before you will receive it. However, incomplete or incorrect addresses may result in longer delivery times and possible charges for redelivery.

We ship only to the Continental United States
Sorry, but we can't ship internationally. 

Sales Tax
Jefferson Trading Company is required by law to collect all applicable sales taxes for the state of Louisiana.

Site Pricing
We reserve the right to change prices on the site at anytime. While we make best efforts to keep our site up to date, from time to time actual market conditions may change the price of a product. This will rarely happen, but In the event that there is a price change, you will be given the option to cancel your order.

Out of Stock Items
In the event that an item is out of stock and unavailable, Jefferson Trading Company will notify you and give you the option to cancel your order or wait for the product to be available.

Original Craft Works-Made to Order
In some cases, original works are made when an order is placed and is not in stock.  In those circumstances, the product details will indicate that this is an original "made when ordered" item and provide an estimated delivery time. Jefferson Trading Company will notify you when your order is ready to ship and keep you informed.

Applicable Law
By visiting Jefferson Trading Company, you agree that the laws of the state of Louisiana, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms and Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Jefferson Trading Company or its affiliates.
